I think of it now as my bikes signature... wherever I go there will be just a little dab of oil.... never more than a single dab....


Your bike isn't leaking it's just marking it's territory!

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

hmmm...  will look into that seal groove thing...  the  center of the seal (that rides on the shaft) is rubber... can rubber wear the steel shaft?

Nobody's mentioned yet that, if it were a 400F, that would be rusty water running down the sidestand.

Who said anything about "pleasure" Dusty? The only pleasure I got was when I sold it and I overheard the buyer bragging to his mate that he'd screwed me, and that he'd get it back on the road for "a couple of hundred bucks" when I was quoted $3300 just for parts, ha ha! ;D
