Topic: the gauge ring

like ive read before when u take apart the gauges u cut a small slit to take off the thin ring that holds everything together.

now i have everything back together and i was told and read you drop a small bead of solder to connect the ring back on.....

well i cant get any solder to stick to it!

now what do i do?

I did the face plate overlays and was told from the person that makes them to use a pipe cleaner with a little jb weld and crimp back together with pliers.

solder worked just took a long freakin time and half a spool of solder....... gay
