Does anyone have a simple way to get the baked on crud off these. Have used a wire brush wheel but it won't get between fins. Wifes dishwasher didn't help! Cleaning paste and toothbrush a failure too!

A simple but rather time consuming operation is with chrome polish and a shop towel.  Lay the towel on the floor. Step on one end the towell and grab the other end of it with a free hand.
Use your other free hand to run clamp up and down rag (in betewwn fins, one at a time) adding polish to rag as needed. Lots of rubbing and a little crude, but will work well if you don't mind spending the time and don't have any other tools. Mine turned out almost new looking. Good luck!
