Newb from Cincinnati
« on: May 18, 2012, 11:26:03 AM »
I just got my third bike, they seem to get older everytime i buy one, I started on a 05' Suzuki SV1000s then sold it and bought a 95 Honda Shadow, now I'm the proud owner of a 1974 CB550. A good friend of mine bought it as his first motorcycle 2 years ago and never road it he let it sit in my shed collecting rust and dirt. So i told him he needed to move it and he up and gave it to me so he didn't have to deal with it. Now i just wish i had been working on it and keeping it in better shape all this time, especially since the bike ran great when he bought it. So 2 years with no airbox or cover to keep dust out has slowly filled the carbs and choked the life out of her. Now the project begins!
