looking at the stainless cycle site, its seems they have a pretty good deal.. for my 550 there is a 91 piece set for $30 polished! I feel like that very likely included the rocker cover as mentioned

what do you guys think?

good find!  but your link took me to the "unpolished" set.  i'll be ordering the polished set, though!  :)

Does anyone make SS or even zinc plated stock replacements with the original style phillip heads. The stock screws can be really soft but I do like the look of the phillips head vs the allen barrel style heads. Rather then ordering them individually from honda just wondering if someone makes a kit that aren't allen drive.

I don't know about a kit, but it looks like BoltDepot.com has a variety of metric stainless pan head philips screws (they're a good vendor with competitive prices).  Someone around here had a spreadsheet for the 750 that included the right sizes required for the whole kit.  Or you could piece it together from the parts diagram.

For those who want stainless Phillips head screws:

I have used the 85 piece Jim Spillane stainless steel Phillips head screw kit for the 1969-76 CB750K engines. These are a very close match to the original Honda Phillips / JIS style screw heads. You can further polished them up to a chrome-like finish if desired.
