Amazing the safety equipment today keep us far safer than they used to... Yes, I forgot to add, definitely glad you're son wasn't hurt and sorry about your daughter's breakup,  she must be heartbroken.  It isn't uncommon today as there can be alot of shame to losing a job but,  it is a betrayal of trust that you can't get back.  And, that becomes the deal breaker in the longrun.

Just doing my due diligence and filling this thread with more non sense. Sorry to hear about your troubles, good news is your daughter has discovered anothers true nature before she has  become too involved. I hope it does not lead her to have issues trusting others, once bitten twice shy :( .

I keep reassuring her that what happened is way better now than later(wedding was supposed to have been in October)   I spoke with her  yesterday and she seemed to be in much better spirits.  Thank you all for the support...Larry

Responding is  a genuine compulsion to post.

Just like the divine directive that separates men from their foreskins or drives fundamentalists to cut off other people's heads.

I just discovered how to crimp my OEM style electrical connectors. Wow, it's really easy with the tool I bought from CB750 Supply! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I used my ebay nutsert kit for the first time today, I think I bought it in 2013? Anyway, after fcuking up two alloy inserts I worked out how to install them without tearing the guts out of them, so I'm rather chuffed! Cheers, Terry. ;D

That tool is the best, makes the finished crimp as professional as original.  I have one but wish I had bought it 20 years ago rather than several...Larry

Oh no, hope I'm not ruining the trivial nature of this thread.

Hey K6, you sound a little "bound up" about people posting with no significant suggestions or advice. I think you need more fiber in your diet. Try prunes, that should loosen you up! Stop clenching, dude!

Procrastination is the thief of time.

I waited and mused for a long time before posting that.

On the plus side, it is a nice sunny day here.

Hey Kev......it's a rainy day here and I wanna ride.

I recall Texas weather well. As they say "When it rains it pours". I recall one day stuck under the shelter of a tree for an hour, unable to brave the curtain of rain that bucketed down. When the lightning commenced, I mustered up the gumption to run like fcuk back to the motor car. Oddly enough, that was just by Lake Travis.

Back in the day.

We've had a lot of pouring rain in the last month, Lake Travis has come up 38 feet in the last thirty days!  [I'm a mile up the road]

I see a spot of blue sky so there is hope for a test ride on the 550F project today...
