the $42.50 spark plug socket = lockitsocket
« on: May 12, 2012, 09:16:13 PM »
Used one of these today and they are NICE. BUT... nearly $50 bucks. Fits in the CB750 real good. Access to the 2-3 plugs made easier. Might be worth the investment to some of you racers and engine builders.

That is a sweet looking tool, back in the 70's when I was working as a flat rate mechanic I would have bought one-looks like the time saved would have meant more money in my check ;D  ...Larry

$50 for a wrench is cheap when building a million dollar motorcycle....

get a 2.5 inch piece of hose for starting the plug, then use the stock socket with a 1/4 inch drive socket welded in the end, to snug it up..
