I didn't go full cafe, but I did throw on clubman's, lose my mirrors, remove front fender, and bob the rear fender. I run points pods and have it tuned well. Also today I rode it to work in the misty rain and it was fine and awesome. All my tuning was with help from this site.

Elon musk started paypal, now he is in rocket science and space. Dragon X just got to the space station. He did it without asking what the "pro's" thought.

They were the lucky ones, what you are forgetting is how many people who have f#(ked up their bikes for want of a little basic knowledge, which isn't that hard to get by simply reading some books.

This is ironically my first post here but I've been lurking around for a bit now.
I believe a lot of heartache and trouble resides in the less than adequate search function, which honestly is a pain for us all. Newcomers and veterans alike would rejoice with just a simple accurate and modern advanced search function.

I would like to applaud all the contributors btw, this is one of the most informative and helpful sites I've seen, just awesome.

This is exactly why I wish the wiki format had caught on more so than the forum format.  It's less frustrating both for the person looking for answers (as they are more likely to find the answer right away) and for the person posting answers (as they never have to answer the same question twice).

They have more than a few ex-NASA people on the payroll. They didn't reinvent the wheel here folks. People have been shooting monkeys to the stars for the past 60 years now.

So, yes, he did ask what the "PROS" thought.
