Rubber block had split at the tongue...drilled a small hole in a meaty outside parts each side of the block and put a zip tie thru, snugged it up so now i pull the zip tie over and tuck in the split tongue pieces and it seems to hold pretty good, we'll see. Also tieded up the tool kit...pieces fit inside one another so now its flater and all fits...lightly greased the seat lock mechanism, tidied up the carb vent hoses...stuff to do while the petcock assy dries lol!...mmm, maybe should rub out the side covers...when all else fails,polish something.
