Memorial Day Weekend
« on: May 25, 2012, 12:43:23 PM »
I just wanted to say that I hope everyone here in the states has a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend.  My thanks to anyone who has served or has family who have served.

Keep an eye out for the crazies this weekend  !!   ;)

EDIT:  I suppose those of you *not* in the states should have a fun and safe weekend also lol.  Pardon the exclusion.

Dad was a replacement after Kohlmar Pocket (sic?). Lots left behind there in about '45. Battle of the  Bulge is the one that got notoriety of the two.

Went to the cemetary today. Poured him drinks on his birthday, the 11th.
