Advance auto battery issue
« on: May 23, 2012, 09:12:14 AM »
I went to my buddy that is the commercial sales guy at our local advance auto to get a battery. All the Honda type batteries he had in stock had the polarity wrong. We checked every battery he had and double checked the parts listing and the numbers. they were all wrong. Be aware.
I went to sears and got a gold diehard AGM . It took three trips because most of the people working there couldn't find them.

Don,

Got that Diehard AGM item/battery number? What did it set you back? Gotta find a battery tomorrow.

No that's not it,  but I like that price better. Mine was diehard gold, I'll run out and look.  Die hard Gold 14AHL-BS  I'm thinking it was around a hundred, not sure the wifey whipped out the plastic and took care of it for me.

When I was at the parts store they started looking at me like I was the crazy one. I went out to the truck and got my old (still good) battery for everyone to look at. They showed me the book, I showed them the battery. Impasse.
