...front brake bleeder screw for 78F

...u know, its the little nimple type screw on the caliper...mine is stripped.  Anyone know if I can get this after market anywhere?

Is it the nipple that is stripped or the caliper. Nipples tend to be an odd thread and i wouldnt helicoil a caliper try for a used one.

...the nipple is stripped...not the caliper, so I'm just looking for a nipple.  Pretty small peice and never seen them aftermarket anywhere.  Even still, thats what I'm looking for...

Try your Honda dealer, or if you have the part number try ServiceHonda. I was able to order one for a K0 from ServiceHonda (at the time it was too damn cold and snowy to drive out to the dealer).

oh yea...forgot about service honda...good call.  I'll check it out.  Have u guys did remote console part diagrams?  Very cool...

   servicehonda has them...dealer should too. Be careful with after market...the threads may be different.

servicehonda.com  ...they have a "partsfinder" program that is real cool.  Basically its microfiche of every diagram of every honda ever made...at least as far as I can tell.  Real good for finding parts and part #'s.

True, the min. shipping sort of sucks, so I try to lump some parts in one order. On the other hand, when you consider the cost per mile to drive, and my dealer is way out on the west side of town, it's not as bad as it appears. Now if you're just a couple blocks from your dealer, it's another story.

I was able to buy a bleeder screw at the local auto supply store. I think it's a 7 mm.
