Jan Pehchan Ho - Mohammed Rafi, Gumnaam Song

I swear, if there was a real club like this I'd go in & never come out.
But, of course, that's the premise of the movie, isn't it?

Grumpy I seem to remember Montreal having Clubs like that when I was in boot camp 50+ years ago (Ruby Foo's and can't think of the others) I saw Mister "B" Billy Eckstine at one, fair dazzled a simple young lad from Vancouver.

Billy Eckstine played Ruby Foo's!

Man, I would have had no idea who he was back then but I was living just off Decarie 50+ years ago. Many times, I'd wander down to the A&W with my .50 cents or buck, get a root beer and watch the motorcycles congregate at the Orange Julip on the other side of the street. Who else played at Ruby Foo's, I didn't even know there was a venue there. I thought it was always a motel/restaurant.

Azure I wouldn't swear that Mr B played Ruby Foo's it was a wild weekend and we hit a number of club's, I got curious and started trying to remember where we got too that weekend and drew a blank so I googel-ed clubs of Montreal of the late fifties and sparked a thought that it may have been the El Morocco, I know it was huge with very pretty girls on stage, sadly
age and too much cheap booze have dimmed my recollections I know it was something that most people in boot camp only
could have dreamed about.

Ps Mr B was the coolest of the cool as I understand it he set the tone.

this is one of my all time favorites. This was in the beginning scene of an Indie movie 'Ghost World".I love this ,I can watch it over and over.I want to dance like that but I would break my neck.
its better to regret something you have done, than something you havent.Except playing with explosives.

Yep, Ghost world was where I first saw this too.
Good flick.
