"Wouldn't it be nice if you were told whether the "hesitation" throttle position was running lean or rich?" Do you mean how far my throttle is engaged? To figure this out, while riding home tonight I will note every spot where I feel it "hesitates"?

Wouldn't it be nice if you knew at what precise throttle position (slide position/jet needle position) the "hesitation" occurred? I am not sure how to check this?

Wouldn't it be nice to know what air bleed screw setting was selected?
Is this the side screw where I turned it out 1.5 times?

I really appreciate your help TT. I will do a plug chop asap with new plugs. I will pick up new ones on the way home tonight!

Also, sorry if my questions seem to have obvious answers.

I'm just trying to help you reason it out.

But, maybe I've answered these types of questions too many times and need something new keep from getting bored.

You fly airplanes? Sweet!

Your knowledge has been pertinent in my education of these great machines. I really appreciate it. I will check the areas of concern you have brought up...

Could be my mind playing tricks on me though and maybe I expect my bike to be like a crotch rocket!!! Not sure yet. Honestly thinking it may be in my thoughts.

 Tews,
Your mind is not playing tricks...
Walk towards the super bike light.
Soichiro Honda says your 550 can perform like a super bike.

Thanks for returning the manometer today. You can borrow it any time.
I will need it early next week after re-assembling the top end of my 550 after helicoiling #2. Got it ready tonight to set timing and check carb balance.
Should be on the road early next week as I will be heading to Michigan on the Kawasaki Concourse for the weekend.

Hope to see you at Vintage bikes at Elk Hart Lake on 6/9. I'll be there with the 550.

Thanks for allowing me to use it. I am ordering one today. Great tool. I will be at Elkhart next weekend for sure. I know a bunch of us are going this Sunday... BTW I think I found out why I thought I had a boggin sensation after I took it for a ride. The needle part that move when the floats rise somehow came out. It stopped gas from entering cylinder one. She is back to good now!
