Conveyor belt tech. Before it can move by ship, rail or truck, it moves by belt. And it moves by belt a lot of the time afterwards.

Currently a truck parts warehouse manager, but I used to be a VD Investigator in Chicago.

The new title is Public Health Advisor, but honestly the job title was VD Investigator back in the 1940's and 50's.  Tracking down sex partners of syphilis cases for treatment.  Never knew the job existed until I was hired.

When I am tired of answering questions about the job, I usually tell people that I sell candies to kids out of a van

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

I sell over the counter Twinkies at Zippys GasMart down at 59 & 40. With Hostess being in financial trouble, looks like my job will soon be eliminated....

During the school year, I'm a Band Director.....in the summertime, I'm a house painter.  Paint brushes don't spew excuses and constantly whine like 12 yr olds do, so I'm looking forward to the switchover in about a week.   :)

Amen to that! Kids these days are too babied by their parents. No ownership of their own problems.

What do you expect from kids of the "me, me, me" boomer generation? It's all about their little genius scholar and how you are robbing them of their potential ivy league education they will never test into.

Civil engineer, transportation, right now performing private development reviews for a local city.

Worked for a major Computer maker for 30 years and retired and collect a pension. Got another job at a Railcar builder in the Engineering dept writing technical manuals and teaching. I enjoy going to the Rail yards teaching the guys the new technology. I was a blue collar guy in a white collar job which paid very well. Now I work get to hang out with blue collar guys, and I have a good time. Pays pretty good too.

I've worked all sorts of jobs, but somehow I always end up with my ass on a forklift. Recently went from working in a warehouse at the University of Arkansas to a warehouse at a chemical supply company in Melbourne Australia. I guess that makes me a time traveler too!
