Well, the tensioner was stripped. The replacement worked flawlessly. We just got back to Orlando from our trip to the keys. The bike performed flawlessly for the most part.  I will probably be making a thread about the trip.

Glad to hear it. Did you need to lift the cylinders?
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

I feel like it would have made installing the tensioner much easier, but i did not have to lift the cylinders. The slot that the bottom of the tensioner sits in is slightly underneath the crank. So when sliding it in, you have to hook the lower, then carefully push the top towards the center of the cylinders to clear the adjustment screw.
