Bullet connectors available.
« on: June 14, 2006, 04:11:07 AM »
I recall having read that the electrical connector on these old Hondas were unavailable. FWIW, I've bought some in ww.louis.de. 4.95 euro a set of 100 pieces (25 male, 25 female + insulation).

Just yesterday I was repairing a Kenwood car stereo and couldn't help but notice that the power connectors were the same than the used in the bike. Talk about japanese manufacturers...

Here you have a link to the catalog

I work for a Japaneese manufacturer and they use off the shelf products in almost everything. I am not a fan of bullet connectors except in instances where something needs to be disconnected. I do not like them in the middle of a run since that only for manufactring ease, and not good connectivity. I convert mid run connectors to good solder joints and only use connectors at the end of a run.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

mmm, that makes complete sense. If you need to remove something you can always cut the wires and solder them again.

Actually, my CB750 ignition switch was cut by a previous owner, and used a screw-on connecting strip. I just got rid of it and solder the wires.
