TORO TORO TORO Sprinklers, inground ?
« on: June 03, 2012, 05:20:22 PM »
 Got a question;
 Got a STUCK zone..turning solenoid top does not help.. just stays on. Anyway to disable without cutting wires? Have not tried opening valve up, but if it has debris, I would think flow would be reduced.
Any ideas?

I'm not a toro guy but I'm thinking nelson and rainbird have a diaphram type solenoid, there is a little bleed hole under the plunger that allows pressure to bleed into the back side of the diaphram and push it closed. the orifice can get a piece of rust or some other form of grit in it.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.
