I had some stuck rings. I had to break them out in pieces. It was a pain. Good luck!

SUCCESS!!!! I finally got the rings out last night, had intentions of using the dremmel but ended up getting them out with a very small punch!!! So stoked to be able to move on! Thanks for all the advice!
