Hey just a tip, make sure and inspect your tappet adjuster screws. The point that contacts the valve tip. Make sure they are not damaged.
That's a good point. Years ago i got a few dozen rocker arms from a salvage yard. Inspecting each, fully 1/3 were not usable. Damage includes pitting, and a wear trough from one side of the convex surface to the other, as that surface rocks over the tip of the valve stem in operation.  Here's a shot, first is pitted, second is the wear trough running 3 to 9 Oclock. The last is a virgin tappet.

Whe you run a damaged one you won't get a true valve lash reading. Each time you tweak it you get a sub par reading. And of course eventually it will fail altogether.

All the usual OEM suspects. I got mine at Motogrid.com. Not too expensive IIRC.

Oh boy, $25 for the parts is fine, but $16 shipping to ohio for 8 little screws? I can't agree to that, any other sources off the top of your head?

My understanding is that they are stellite tips. Once you have worn thru the Stellite, your done for. And Stellite is not very thick. So no to repair.

An actual (shudder) local Honda shop might drop them in a first class envelope for you.  Motogrid's shipping has always been a stinky thing for me. My orders are usually big enough to justify.
