grew up fishing the mountain streams of southwestern pa. now i chase trout in the blue ridge of VA. got into fly fishing around 12. chased my moms poor dog around cutting black fur off of him and used that and grouse feathers to tie up woolly worms. dam if they didn't catch fish!! have evolved a bit but not too far from the basics, not a snob. i fish wets 95 percent of the time. but dries when the fish are on top. and not afraid to string up the spinning rod for bass with worms. have found a few good patterns over the years.the best being a crawfish..deadly on summer trout and pa stream smallies and trout.
