Z turn mowers
« on: June 05, 2012, 04:47:01 PM »
Well my Craftsman 42" riding mower has been a good one, but after about 12 years or so its showing its age. I mow about a acre and would like to get a good  zero turn mower. Anybody have any experience with this type of mower and if so what brand would you recommend for home use. Don't want to spend a fortune but do want a well built dependable mower that will last me for years.

My uncle had a Grasshopper brand mower. Awesome but pricey! I actually would volunteer to mow when he'd bring it around to my moms place.

(I'm sure this would be overkill for 1 acre.)

Now that he's gone, she bought a Husqvarna from Sear's that set her back about three G's and personally, I think it sucks!

I like my women a little big. Natural. Now, they shave this and wax that. It's not right. I love natural women. Big women. This trend in women has to go. Bulomia, anorexia. That's just wrong. I looked into those and test drove few.  One thing for me was that you sit very close the rear axle and it makes your spine to eat all the bumps.  I know many guys who run 0s and are very happy with it, but I got off one and swore never again.

Me?  I have Kubota 20hp tractor with mid mount mower and love it.

Much depends on your budget.  I think the Ferris zero turn mowers are the best out there.

Unlike most, they have suspension and are built like a tank.

We already have a walk behind from Ferris, and may buy an IS 2000Z in the near future.  They have a lot of ease of maintenance features.
