Bikings!
« on: June 06, 2012, 02:37:40 PM »
Walking down by the Viking museum/harbour here in Roskilde, Denmark where there are two competing ice cream shops that are also local hangouts for the local motorcycle crowd - bikings (Vikings who ride bikes ;))

Ice cream place #1 with the the local bikers huddled around their ice creams

and across from there is this place which as about 5 security cameras all around (Vikings love their ice cream apparently!)

and the bikes

Its a pity I missed the photo of the KZ1300 that roared off as we cycled up to the harbour.

And then we saw this...

Cheers
Andy

A velosolex! ( I think that's how it's spelled)

At a sawp meet a few weeks ago I bought a set of 1973 Cycle World magazines and one of them had a test of one. They kept poking fun at how slow and low-tech it was. I know the quarter mile time was over a minute.
