Its one of those things that works first then gets explained later.

TwoTired, I think the idea was that it atomized the fuel better (from what I understand reading this thread), so likely burning more of the fuel that is already there, meaning you would need to use less fuel for the same amount of power.
How is this NOT saying the mixture is being leaned?   Less fuel and more air, makes a leaner air/fuel ratio.

If you are getting better economy with the same mechanical volumetric efficiency, you must be leaning the mixture.  I'm not saying that's universally bad.  I'm saying the carbs are dumb and are usually set so they can run without causing damage in any part of the world.  If you fine tune (make leaner)  for your current barometric pressure, temperature, and humidity, you may encounter another set of conditions later to make it richer or leaner.  The carbs will not automatically adjust for this.  They deliver based on set physics.

I'm just trying to identify the risks before diving into the pool.

In engineering for other people, a test case of one is always inconclusive.  Particularly if one has no idea of what was being done to make the test case.

Guys, I'm sorry if I upset any with the thread. I was lookin to get crazy MPG and tinker with the bike. I lie the aspect of working on the bike and having success with the effort put forth. Simply stated, I wanted to try new things and was curious if there was any success with this application

I say, that's not a bad mileage at all. I only managed that on old Greek countryroads. Overhere I have to switch to reserve after 175kms.

i dont spare mine,,or try for fuel economy,,we have decent proper petrol here aswell,which helps,i mostly use the 95,,we have also 98,,and 91 with ethanol for the peasants and gypsies.
