Yeah, saw this on the news last night.

"Investigators interviewed McElrath at his home May 28; he admitted to having stolen bikes in the past but refused to allow police to search his garage, saying, "If I allow you to search the garage, you will find something stolen and arrest me," the affidavit said. Based on his statements, the investigators prepared to get a search warrant."
