CB 650 shorter swingarm

I would like to shorten the swingarm on my 1981 CB650 bu 1-2 inches. Does anyone know if a swingarm from another model such as a 1979 Cb650 or any other model will work.

A 79 650 swing arm is about 3/4 inch shorter.    Will slide right in.  About 1 pound lighter too.
