Hello guys, great forum you all have here. Here's my deal,I found my old Honda after 36 years. I called the guy and told him I wanted to buy it back. If I get it, I will be seeking your help to restore it to show quality. I built this back in 1977 after I went to Daytona to the bike races for the first time in 76. I had an extented front end and king and queen seat, once I saw roadracing... it changed my world.
When I got home in 76 from Daytona, I jerked all the crap I had on the bike and trashed it. I bought the Tracy body Zeke Craddock built me a sweet little RC 836 motor. I had Kerker and Yosh pipes on it. I put some chrome mag wheels on it, but they were so heavy I put the stock wheels back on. Here is the only pictures I can find from back in the day. I'll keep you guys posted if I am able to secure the bike
What do you think this bike is worth....I know that is subjective.

Oh, I found this pic. Cabbage Patch Daytona 1977... I won, I was on the left.

First of all, welcome! This is the best forum known to motorcycle mankind. I'm just a young cat, so to me it wouldn't be worth much. If you intend to restore and ride it, it'll be priceless to you however. I would buy it back if I were in your shoes.

Getting an old bike back, Priceless!!  I hope you can get it back.  Not many Tracy bodies around.  I never saw one in person.
Good luck on the buy!

How lucky are you ;D that would be great Racer getting your 750 back that you sold years ago. How did you find it after all these years? Is it still in decent shape or has it been neglected? Wish I could find some of the Honda's I got rid of years ago :(

By the way I'm in Greensboro not far from you ;D

I was at Piedmont dragstrip the other night and saw some long lost friends and we got to talking about our bike days,,, gotta remember, I'm in my late 50' now, anway, one of the guys told me about it and gave me the same guy that I sold it to 36 years ago his phone number... I called him, he said he didn't want to sell it, then he got to himming and hawing and said he might. He said the bike was runnning and in good shape.. who knows what that means. If I get it back, I don't know if I want to make it look just like it looked in the 70's or retro it with trick rear swingarm and trick front forks.
All I know is I will need all of your help here on this forum. I have been away from bikes so long, the technology has got way past me.
