hi 75, thx.  pipes are period aftermarket jardine turn-outs, full length baffles so it's a little louder than stock at idle, but very "wooly" at wfo.   ;)

kevins750 has the right "look"  ---  a beaut!  looks like the bars have been cut for easy top-end work and maybe a sporty tank?  looks righteous!  booyah!

I have received quite a few PM's about the frame, it is an SB&F hardhead custom frame.....they welded a new section from the seat post forward on a stock rear section..

@steam powered man, where did you get those lowering blocks, I want to put a set on mine with the 11" shocks, trying to drop the rear as much as I can.

@kevins750 what tank is that? I love that look. Was it hard to install? What did that entail?

just your run of the mill Sportster tank, but I welded in some threaded pipe and used a brass fuel cap off a semi truck...certain year sporty tanks have the tabs that run on the side of the backbone just drilled and tapped the frame and loc-tite the bolts....Here's a pic of the rear mount with some paint..

Sorry to stay off topic here but I think I may try that Sporty tank, looks sweet! Can I ask if thats how you mounted the front and what did you do with the stock mounts on the front? Do they come off and get covered up by the new tank? Thanks so much for your time, tryin to make the coolest bike possible!

have seen 3 types of lowering blocks:  chromed flat stock rolled into shape, single position cast blocks and multi-position blocks.  i have the last type.  gotta check flea-bay and here for 'em, no longer made.  you should be paying about $30/$35 shipped.

kevins750:  nicest bike i've seen in awhile, sorta want to push mine off a cliff and start over. ;D
