Topic: Accelerator pump o-ring???

Hey guys, newbie here, and first time carb rebuild. My question is I bought a new accelerator pump for my carb rebuild and it came with an o-ring that I don't remember removing. Can anyone tell me where it goes? I found two possible places: either on the bowl where I marked an arrow, or on the body of the carb, the other arrow.

On the bowl with the first arrow. If it’s not installed it will leak every time you twist the throttle
The accordion piece goes into the whole in the carb and is just a dust boot
