Like i mentioned in my other thread i have been busy. Some of that has been spent working on a couple projects. 1st one being a 1981 Dodge Ram 1/2 ton and the other being a 1994 GMC Sierra Extended cab short box with a Detroit 6.5 Turbo Diesel. Mostly working on the GMC currently but will be working on the old Dodge again soon. Heres a pic of each...

Dodge Ram 150 Custom SE

Torqueflite 727 transmission

Work done
Stock grill replaced with tube style grille
lights mounted behind grille
replaced damaged original signal lights/headlight surrounds with units from Colorado
Entire front braking system overhauled
replaced plug wires, plugs, cap, rotor,
Replaced alternator and voltage regulator. Cheap replacement alt burned up though so will need to redo this.
Wired in a CD/Cassette deck from a '93 Plymouth Voyager

GMC Sierra K1500 ECSB 4x4

Detroit 6.5 Turbo Diesel
4L80E 4 speed trans
NP 241 transfer case
14 B SF rear diff

Work done so far:

Removed 5th wheel hitch
Removed diamond plate tool box
Removed headache rack
Relocated Pump Mounted Driver
Replaced Injection pump

The engine in this truck was replaced with a newer one by the friend i bought the truck from due to spun bearings. The Injection pump from the original engine was swapped on just after purchase but there are indications it may have failed. Currently fighting a fuel system problem on this truck.

I'm a shade-tree mechanic type as well.  I'd like to take on an old car when I get finished with all my bikes.
