I bought emgo cheapie shoes recently for my cb550 chopper - They are a file to fit part. Seriously nothing lined up when it came out the package and it turned a 30 minute job into a 3 hour one as I had to file, test fit, file test fit, grind, test fit, grind, test fit, file, grind test fit....get the idea? At the end of it I wish I had bought honda shoes.

And if you did not send email to the company that made them telling them about the problem, We will all just have to keep fixing their mistakes.

Also mention reporting them to the NTSB. That will make them read your email seriously.

I sent the seller an email complaining about the part and how it was not a direct fit replacement. I have been sending emgo letters and email since the late 1990s and I have never gotten so much as a single acknowledgment but I did send one just in case.

Next time try sending it certified with the name of a law firm on the envelope... ;) ;D
