Man, It's hard to find a '79 650 side cover

I need the Right side.  I've emailed several vintage Jap. salvage websites, combed ebay on a daily basis, and searched online.  Nothing so far.

Well here it is, I actually have two of these but I'd like to get rid of this one rather than the other. The other one I have has the cb650 badge on it. The pics are a little hazy because I forgot my camera and had to use my phone. Its in good shape, some of the paint is chipping off but there are no cracks and its solid. Make me an offer? If you would like the other one with the badge let me know. I can take pics of that one to if you need.

Oh by the way, the tape on the back was for when the guy that had it before me filled in the holes for the badges. Aparently he didnt feel like taking it off haha... it was off a parts bike Picked up a while ago.

Thats a 80-82.   The 79 was quit a bit diff.   It might fit though but it will through the style lines off.
I know a 79 wont fit on newer.

That's a later model.  Thanks, though.  The '79 is more rectangular looking.

Plastic crap.  Just think about the future of these transformer toy bikes covered in plastic panels.
Somewhere there is one on someone's bedroom wall in perfect shape.
Next to a set of rare carbs.

I feel your pain.  I couldn't find an affordable (uncracked) left side cover for my '81.  I eventually gave up and fiberglassed the back of mine and painted it...

The 81 style is usually easy to find.    Last time I was at a J/Y I found 4 on the wall.  Now the badge might be a little harder.

The '80 & '81 style left side is hard to find at a reasonable price usually. The right side are on ebay all the time. I have a busted post on my left side, and have been looking for quite some time. It isnt worth $50 or $60 to me to replace it.
