Never rode a bike, never worked on one, but what the heck . . .price was right (I thought) '73 Cb500
After getting it running, rattle canning it, carbs, do-dad's . . . only one problem, couldn't find much info or parts about the Cb500 and all the stuff I could find was about 750s. Well . . . heard through the grapevine about a guy who had his old 750 for sale, checked it out and sold the Cb500 to buy it.

I'll get new pictures of the K1's current shape but I rebuilt the motor (rings, gaskets, seals) painted it (original paint from vintagehondapaint.com) new tires (bridgestone vintage series) and rebuild carbs along with countless other little things. Put over 6,000 miles on it last summer and can't wait untill the weather clears here in Michigan to ride again! Also looking forward to hearing how it sounds with the $35 set of HM341's I got off e-bay
