Need help with CB650SC carb joint set
« on: June 15, 2012, 04:44:48 PM »
So I took my carbs apart on my 82 nighthawk and in the process the rubber T joints that link 1&2 and 3&4 fell apart to nothing.  I put just pieces of tube between them but it seems the bike does not like to run like that.  does anyone know what i can do with replacing these?  I can order them but just for the little rubber T theyre like $40 each.. WTF.

You said tee joint. Did you just connect the ports to the carbs and forgot the tee portion?

Thanks one piece I tried searching for and couldn't find what someone had called them. Very helpful.

Tom, well i figured it was worth a shot just linking them but finding out that it needs that vent.  Seems like this is used for idling, because the bike wont do it with them just solely tied together with no vent.
