"That's basically a Henry Abe breadbox redesign that has been around forever" except that it's about 1/2 the size, doesn't use a foam cleaner element and doesn't have a mesh cover over the cleaner element. The Abe is so small and light it doesn't need any additional support. This one, I'm betting, will. But still a good idea, and probably another 1/2 the filter area of the stock filter element. The nice thing is that it has the velocity stacks, which are the dirty little secret of "pods" - they flow more air but don't necessarily do it in a helpful way with no stacks.
Hope someone tries this soon - I would like to use one on my CB750 "touring" machine.
