-- Yes, this bike looks really fast.
"A man in CA started the concept to a cafe racer in the 50s using a CB750, he passed on this knowledge and skill to his son. Im sure you know him, Carpy."
--Really? Is this guy just talking out his ass?
"Yes there is rust, or character as I like to call it. None of it is rot"
--No. Rust is not character. By definition, rust is rot.
"Im asking a dollar a CC or $750 but open to cash offers."
Here's an offer: $0.0133 cents per CC, or about $10
I wonder if you have to pay extra for the oil-stained piece of cardboard.
Reminds me of Fred Sanford trying to talk up the junk in his junk yard.

http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/mcy/3070248683.htmlWith all of the nice days we have had I am sure that you have seen all the amazing custom build motorcycles all of the area buzzing around.
Wouldnt you like to be part of that culture and life style?
Vintage motorcycles are the hot thing and are showing no sign of doing out of fashion.
Dont waste your time with a small motorcycle that will barely get out of its own way. You need power and speed to get around. You need something that will do the ton stock!
Why not start with the bike began the movement? A true great, the first superbike, a CB750
A man in CA started the concept to a cafe racer in the 50s using a CB750, he passed on this knowledge and skill to his son. Im sure you know him, Carpy.
Carpy went own to inspire others like benji cafe racer, im sure you want one of their tanks, and the world famous TV people Dime City Cycles. These people can help put together and amazing work of art with what I have to sell.
Basically what I have is a 1971 CB750. The 69-72 bikes are considered much better then the latter bikes due to the fact that they made much more power and felt lighter, so if you are afraid of a "big" bike, fear not as this is a very well balanced machine. My bike is missing part and is not running. Any of the missing parts are easy to find or offer opportunities to add custom touches to really make the bike your own. Best part about the bike is that it has a clear title so no BS at the DMV when trying to get plates. Yes there is rust, or character as I like to call it. None of it is rot. Either leave it as a rat bike or simply blast and paint everything.
Sure you could go out and buy a runner for $4,000 or more, but where is the fun in that. I have seen tons of great builds on the internet where the builder created a great bike and didnt spend much money at all, it was just time and effort. Yes my bike has issues like missing parts or rust, but the title, engine that turns over with compression (remember honda are build to last for ever and rarely break) as well as being a rare early 70s bike more then make this and attractive bike to start a custom build on. Im asking a dollar a CC or $750 but open to cash offers
The bike is on long island and I can help with delivery as long as its paid for.
