Picture of throttle stop screw
« on: June 18, 2012, 10:11:51 AM »
In my never ending search for new stuff to do wrong, I somehow managed to clean, reassemble and remount the carbs on my K5 750 without replacing the throttle stop screw. My bike has idled better.

Now, so that I can grab the right screw out of my various carb screw piles, can someone show me a picture of a throttle stop screw looks like when it is not on the bike? And then a picture of where it screws in when the carbs are reassembled? Can I get this back in without pulling the rack again?

I should know this.

TIA

What bike?

http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-cb750k6-four-usa_model14380/partslist/E19.html#results  part #11

A large headed screw with a cross on top..not a phillips, not a slot. There should be a spring as well, possibly a washer.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Might have been, Lester. I swear it wasn't anywhere to be found when I looked before. Then, from thin air.....

Yeah, I did an edit when you posted what bike it was.
