Sorry, no other pictures...I always kick myself in hindsight.
I have been without a bike for a bit after selling my '67 Triumph, so was quite anxious to get back on the road.
I bought this bike a month ago and just buzzed right through it without taking pictures along the way.
I basically did quite a bit of cleaning, replaced slow jets and went through the carbs, bent up and welded on a rear loop for the seat support. Made a seat pan to fit and upholstered the seat. I also cut apart some old 550 shocks and made some struts to keep it low....form over function, I know
Used a '75 tank and painted that and some NOS side covers to match and made a new headlight bracket for the old Harley dual ring light I found.
Lastly put on some firestone tires to fit the aesthetic. I've ridden these firestones on a few bikes and they work well for me, but keep in mind I live in Iowa so I'm not out hitting the twisties on them!
Pretty straightforward and nothing too terribly amazing like you see elsewhere on the project forum!
cheers
