What was wrong with 630 then? Not arguing, I've read a lot of posts about it and I'm curious about what the problem is.

They weigh a ton and if they break (and they did), it can break the engine case with that massive rotating weight. Cycle =-X uses a #520 chain on their racing CB750.
 I would go with the more conventional 530 chain.
