Great story, great that you found and contacted the original owner too.  So many times I wished I could have done that with various vehicles I've owned.

Yah, cool story Tews. I always try to contact the PO. Just interesting to hear the history of the bike. Good luck with the project and I am anxious to watch what you do to this one. Have fun with it. Kind of early, but have you got an OEM color in mind???  ;D

I have found that Culver gift cards work great for the previous owners. Those older people like their ice cream...   ;D

Awsome man will be watching this build. I do have one request thought. When you start polishing stuff can you take a picture of you wearing your dust mask. It would complete my picture collection.......... :o
