Cb 550 four bigbore Engine
« on: March 20, 2015, 12:57:51 PM »
Hi guys

I will Build a bigbore Engine.
It is based on a 500 motor with a 550 cylinder. I wanted the bigbore Kit from Japan but this is no longer really in ebay. 2 more are now in it but slightly more expensive. someone that has made experience or can say something or help me which I should take?

and what compression drive you where bigbore kit? What for Camshafts and carburetor ride her?
I'll still install an electronic ignition. you have experience with the replika yoshimura exhaust system or which ride you so? very loud is the yoshimura? I hope that I can go and not to bad is striking in Germany?

the cylinder head is ausgelitert and the channels are smooth and easily advanced.

What would you recommend her yet or what have you done otherwise still?

I too am about finished with a 500 motor build. I used the Wiseco 59mm piston kit and +1mm oversized valves. I used a MegaCycle cam 125-20 model. The ignition is electronic, and I used CR-26 carbs.

A very common exhasut is from MotoGP Werks in California, US styled very closely to Yoshi 4:1 system. A little loud, but very hearty sound for high performance motor.

I sufges you evaluate the gears for any wear. If present, they can be "undercut" to create a stronger engagement and withstand more stress under higher RPMs so they will not "slip" out of gear.

Suggest?
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

In june Is the kit from Japan available. But Is this the best or give it no Information to the other two kits?

With compression do you Drive by the Japan piston? One of the other kits had 9,8:1 and the other 9:1 i think the Japan had also 9:1. Is this the best oder a Little bit more?

What do you want for the kit? Why do you sell it?
