I have a video but can I post it on here or have to do a YouTube?

So my friend took it around the block....

It still needs some breaking in after 30yrs of sitting.

It seems like it wants to go, but u have to keep the choke Atleast half way to all the way open. And it seems like 2 cylinders don't always want to run or something.

One coils need to be hooked up to cylinder 1&4. Then 2&3 for the other coil

Fll tune:

Change plugs, caps, points and condensers.  Set timing, adjust valves and sync carbs.

But since your ike has been sitting so long, the carbs mostlikey need to be fully cleaned first.

Search 3000 mile tune up for more details and sequence.

So cylinder 3&4 are running fine. You can feel the heat from the exhaust. While cylinder 2 takes longer but does warm up like 3&4.
Cylinder 1 is the problem. Always cold air coming out and you can actually touch the header and it only gets hot from the other headers.

Thoughts?

Swap #1 plug wire to #4. If the problem follows the wire it is electrical. If #1 stays cold then it is carb related.

Did you check the spark plug? Remove, if black and wet, means not getting spark. Swap wires form 4 and put on 1 then 1 on 4 to see if problem is still there.

Remove the cap, trim and clean wire and cap. Re install. Then try.

I know you cleaned the carbs...but possibly some dirt got into the slow jet. Easy to check...pull the bowl and remove the slow. You do not even need to remove the float. If nothing else but to rule it out.

I had one on my old phone. When I initially posted that it was running a few pages back. Then I asked if I can have it hosted in here or do I have to do it on YouTube?
I just got a new phone today since my old one was damaged. I have to check iCloud to make sure it was backed up.

Well it's operable but not very rideable. You can still tell it isn't running on all cylinders. The 2 go in and out. But we did keep the rpm's high and drive it around on side streets.
So we did new condensers, points, plug ends. I hope not to switch coils. Since the 2 cylinders do go in and out.
We believe it is something with the carbs.

Well I hate to say it but this thing has to go.  Had a plan to have it going already and it kinda is but not all the way.
I have been out on my Buell instead.

So check the for sale thread or pm if interested.
