master cylinder - alternatives or aftermarket
« on: June 21, 2012, 10:28:57 AM »
After countless rebuilds of various oem master cylinders, i am ready to move on...

My cb500 has clubmans, mc is tight to the clocks...

Anyone suggest a model? Perhaps david silvers repro? Although i find the rebuild kits for oem very poor might want to avoid that model...

Thanks

I've just got the repro from DSS. Works perfectly well. The only difference is its all metal.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

An MC with the hose on the front helped me with the problem of being close to the tach.  VF500F or the ilk will do it.

The DSS is an exact copy of the original except the fluid reservoir is metal. The original Honda is a white plastic.
