I had a replica of the Belstaff Panther jacket made from a seller on eBay UK called The Tannery. $300 odd dollars delivered, custom fitted, extra thick hide. Could not be happier with it!
http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=51957.msg843151#msg843151As for gloves, I've got a pair of "Paratrooper" gloves (Glove, Riding, Horsehide, Unlined, M1942) and had a friend re-enforce the strap and stress points in the thumb and finger web areas.
Boots, I got a pair of 1943 'two buckle' combat service boots. The two buckle gator is a bit much, but I can slip my jeans over it if I want to be a little more low key. However, my CB400F has a head gasket leak that sprays oil down the left side of the bike, the gator actually comes in very handy! The boots aren't a steel cap or anything like that, just a sturdy leather boot.
I got both the boots and gloves from At The Front.
Helmet, I got a Bell R/T (which is just the Custom 500 but with premium materials) from the UK because it has brown leather liner. Unbeknownst to me, no of the US Bell Custom 500 face shields fit my Bell helmet. I seems the euro version I have is a weird derivative.
Pants, I just ride with my regular raw selvedge denim jeans. Mates of mine ride with those Deth Killer kevlar jeans and love them, so maybe I'll get a pair.
There's some more photos in my project thread here:
