How do you hide (get rid of?) the regulator, fuse panel, starter solenoid, and oil tank? Ive seen pics of cafes with them missing, or very well hid, and id like to do this to my bike.

Ken, im building a cafe. I enjoy the look of that area being clear, leaving an A shaped gap between the carbs and rear tire. Why post if your answer is no help? Is it merely to raise your post count? I was not sure if things like the starter solenoid safety unit could be bypassed. I know these other things are required, hence me asking where people locate them to. As for everyone else, theres not much room in my seat area to relocate everything, anyone have pics of what some have done?

Remember that if you put the battery in the rear of the seat you have moved a major weight upwards and it results in a higher center of gravity.

Honda put the battery a low spot.
If the battery is in the rear of the seat all of the
large wires will have to be longer.

Thanks for the info Lucky. The battery is staying, getting my box chromed. I just wanted to move the components from around it so it was a clear shot of the box and emptiness. I have room toward the back of my seat, but im afraid of components getting too wet from my rear tire.

Lighten up Bass it was a joke. Sorry if I offended you. I knew what you were after. Most people refer it to the triangle area. They do have those small light batteries that fit under the hump But I don't know how well they work. Some people incorporate the oil tank in the frame downtube.

2. When I decellerate I get a shimmy feel, a wobble or jerk of sorts. The suspension/tires have been gone through, the only thing I can think of is the sprocket rubbers (Not sure on the official name) When I replaced my brake pads, I noticed I didnt have any. Would that cause the symptom described?

Buy the way I saw this in another post. Are you talking about the cush drive? If I don't think you can or should ride with out these.
