I am here talking to a buddy at work about the 71 750 I bought. I mentioned how the tank I have has the recalled gas cap latch. He asked if I was going to Honda to get a new tank due to the recall...

Sounds dumb due to 30 plus years later, but am I able to contact Honda to exchange the tank for a new one?

The original recall was for the latch only and nope, Honda will give you nothing now.
