Can bad spark plug boot cause fuse to fail?
« on: June 26, 2012, 04:58:13 PM »
I have a lose boot on my 2nd lead on my 75 cb550 and I just replaced the main fuse to get it running again. Was wondering if there is any correlation between the fuse failing and the loose boot?  ???

A little bit more information;

 I was riding the bike with no tailight, only front blinkers and headlight off when the fuse failed. It had no problem prior to this.

if the fuse is getting hot then failing that means there is high resistence (corrosion) in wiring. if it blows right away that is a short to ground.

Why are you running with just front blinkers?
