Hey,

Got some pics forwarded to me from user STEVE F of the show this past Saturday.

The mix of prefect weather, lots of vintage bikes, and hot tattooed girls made for a perfect summer
afternoon. Not sure about the exact number of bikes that were their , but I know it was allot.Both sides of the street were lined with vntage bikes of all makes and years. Everything from pre-war german sidecar bikes to brand new high $$ Ducati race bikes.. Member STEVE F ended up winning his class, which was great. Watching him literally dismantle his trophy to be able to get get it home was a sight to see.

Meeting with STLROCKER was also good, CBJUNKIE was unable to attend, but HE WILL be their next year (he says

)

All in all a great time. lad that I got my CB back the night before and was able to participate.

Great pics! I wonder if they ever do anything like that around Louisville, KY. We have "Bike Night" just about every night at different locations, but they're 99.99% HD or crotch rockets.
I'd hate to bounce off that chopper's seat (pic 2) and land on the fender!

But, then, I guess you wouldn't go any further.

Just got off the phone with some of the event staff.
They said they had 400 bikes registered for the show, plus all the others who were their.
They estimate at the height of the show their were around 500-550 bikes stuffed on Lincoln ave.

Boy Teal...the pictures are great. but a little biased, don't you think? I only saw one picture of scooters...Must be the Rockers kicked the Mods Asses...Again!

Like I said, I didn't take the photos, just posted them for STEVEF...
As far as the numbers go, the ROCKERS easily out-numbered the MODS prob. 10 to1.
Though the MODS did bringout some fully restored 5 passenger trolley thing from Thiland, that was rippin it up all day long

ha-ha, just kidding guys - looks like I missed a real party in CHICAGO'S mods vs. rockers this year. I really love CHICAGO... I'm a poor little country bumpkin from Mississippi and have only been to CHICAGO twice my whole life, but I really get the best vibe any time I visit CHICAGO. CHICAGOANS are friendly for the most part and unlike nyc, CHICAGOANS will smile on the street. I hope not to wait a whole year to visit CHICAGO again - heck, when does it start cooling down in CHICAGO? that's my favorite time of year anyway...

That bike was some muntant buell thing that did the longest rolling burnout I have ever seen as he left the show...

Nope.
That was some rocker chick who just happened to park next to my scoot.
That was indeed her bike, and from what I gathered , she did allot of the work on it.
