The three cats here rule the roost, when not sleeping or eating and the "new" ginger thing definately has an attitude problem.
Always remember a dog will listen and do , mostly, what he/she is told
a cat takes a message and get aback to you later!
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

I have bully cats.
My dog loves me for the person I try to be.  Either that or he's hungry.

Mine is mostly Pit Bull from the shelter. You need to be kind, but he has to know you are the boss by your tone. He has never been hit by me since with these dogs it is better not to teach them violence is a solution.

No, he's thick!  The little guy was 2 1/2 pounds there; he grew up to 8 pounds.  It's payback time!

Lola, the black cat, gets the goofy voice, full of cherish and love.
Toy, the boring Basset, and Borges, the German Shepherd, gets my foot in its bum.
Sory the bad english.

a few years ago some dude at a bar asked my friend to take care of his cat while he was out of town for a week.  my friend agrees to this and never sees random cat pawner again.  When my friend had to move i adopted the cat.  The meanest fattest calico I'd ever seen.  after a year she grew to like me and my girlfriend, and that's it.  She will not just swipe or nip, but lunge and attack anybody who isn't me or her.  She is one of those purple sticker cats at the vet, but a sweetheart to us.  I don't use any voice in particular when i speak to her.  usually goes something like.
Me:  Hey, Buzzy
Buzz: Meh
