Those were my favorite back when I first started homebrewing, before I switched to kegging.  Empty swing-tops were not that easy to come by 20 years ago, so we just had to empty them ourselves!

I'm still drinking only cold beer, very particular about that. Mostly ultra, even at 2.6 carbs if I drink enough of it I can put back on a pound or two. It takes a couple days of two a day to lose it again.

Restocked the shop fridge, have Modello, XX, Tecate, a couple IPA's left over and Miller long necks!
The Miller's were an impulse buy, my brother and I use to drink them years ago.  It's hot as Hell down here, they will go quick...

Oh, and the wife is on some kind of hard seltzer kick. I tried one and didnt care for it.

Sometimes I can get a carton of 500ml cans  for a bit under 45 bucks.
Not a bad drop and reduces travel time from seat to fridge by 33%. Win win.

Narragansett in the retro 70s cans, just like Robert Shaw had in the first Jaws movie. It's a good summertime beer.

Lately, I've gone with local, independent breweries - mostly Troegs or St Boniface at the moment.

I had a dark Oat Stout last night. It was pretty good but was in a pitcher so I didn't see the name. I will admit pouring it on some ice to cool it off.

Bud Seltzer in assorted flavors spiked with a bit of Tequila Blanco. A lazy mans low carb margarita.

Got Chinese for dinner, love that stuff, usual the drink that goes best with Gen. Tso chicken is Orange Crush soda, but we're fresh out. Got a room temperature Sam Adams, split it with my wife. Not the same as Orange Crush, but like in the commercials gives good head.
No not like that,  jeez  ,you can float a beer cap on the head.....that just wouldn't be right...yeah .... I'll have to get back too you on that one.

I was watching the Grandkids while the kids were at work and found a mini keg of Christmas Stout outside on the deck. 3 Glasses later, their Grandma drove me home.  It was stout. Tasted like cold alcoholic coffee. My hangover came early.

Good prices there at your winter retreat eh Jerry?

Just picked up a 30 of Natural Ice 5.9% $17.99 and it's about the best deal around. I'll also grab a few 24oz. IceHouse cans from time to time for $1.05 (tax incl)

Lancaster Bomber is my fave especially when it is on offer at £1 a bottle.  I'm not really a lager fan but I am partial to a drop of Tsingtao - I worked in China for a year so I got through a gallon (imperial gallon obviously) a night back in the day.
The fridge is currntly stocked with Lancky Bomber, Bank's Golden & Bombardier.  Oh and I think there is a carton of milk somewhere.

All the best for what's left of Christmas everyone.

today being little baby jesus's birthday it is the traditional day to receive beer from the relatives, and indeed they did come through

got a slab ( case in US speak ) of my fave froggy beer, Saint Ettienne and another of Peroni

unfortunately my sister forgot my aversion to tropical fruits and got me a bottle of mango flavoured beer...for FCUKS sake, who thought of that, that'll be one to slip into someones beer fridge when they're not looking
i blame Terry
